INTRODUCTION

SAMUEL FAITH COMMUNITY was established by Pastor Sung Kyoung Sung (Retired Pastor, Gyeoungbuk Presbytery- The presbyterian Church of Korea). He preached gospel to the students during school chapels and religious classes. Over one hundred students were baptized annually and gathered together for worship and fellowship and it bloomed in the establishment of the church. Churches began to be planted in Daegu and Seoul. The young students grew up to be adults and established the Samueldongsan Christian School and Weekend retreat church in Korea and Canada. Additionally, Youth scholarship center and sharehouses are established across the world, in Seoul, Daegu and Langley, Canada. As we approach our 23rd anniversary since the establishment of Samuel Faith Community, the church has been blessed and grown into a community that intimately shared each other's faith and life and fosters the next generation as global leaders in the spirit of Christianity.

Worship (λειτουργια) that is evidenced by the work of the Holy spirit

Fellowship(κοινωνία) of the saints that overflows with praise, thanksgiving and heartfelt confession

Instruction rich teaching (διδαχή) that stands on the foundation of God's truth

Missions (κήρυγμα) that are fueled by unconstrainable joy

Voluntary devotion unto the Lord that is produced by a grateful heart over God's bountiful grace(διακονία)

I will commit myself to oversee this five-fold commision given to our church.
